Group ideation often poses many challenges, such as a lack of diverse ideas, the ability to come to a consensus, power dynamics and time constraints. This ongoing research postulates that the process of a group ideation could be facilitated and augmented with intelligent systems, specifically with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text-to-Image generators. Building upon the current work on AI-mediated communication (AI-MC) and Group dynamics and behavior theories, this project presents a framework for AI-mediated group ideation. By combining the process of transcription, summarization, analysis and image generation, key parameters for a successful group ideation are identified for further research.
