Rockbot is an useless machine that performs a seemingly pointless task of chasing its own shadow. In this exploration, Rockbot takes the form of a paper rock with many facets and interacts in threefolds: with itself, with its other, and finally with humans.
Using four photoresistors, Rockbot is able to determine the amount of light input it receives and adjust its movements accordingly. The reaction time, velocity of the motor, and sensitivity of the photoresistors all play a role in the output of Rockbot's movements.
